You know what? Fine, FINE I totally admit that I am susceptible to the power of suggestion when it comes to fiction. So here it goes.
No joke, I have seen this book on shelves in every store for several years. But each and every time I skimmed over it, the content never really appealing to me.
And when I saw the preview for the movie I rolled my eyes at another attempt at a Vampire series for teens.
However then eclatantly had to go and reblog the following gif set:
Then my interest was piqued on what the hell was going on here…
Thus I went and rented the movie and—
It was totally fine, whatever, interest sated with no repercussions right? Honestly I was totally in the clear until the following:
Really? REALLY?! Watched it five more times in a row, bought the exact copy I rented.
So naturally I had to read all the books. And I had to read them ASAP.
Issue? I had to *sigh*…wait for the books to reach my library. Naturally book 6 came in first.
Long story short: impatience ran out, I bought book one, then came home Tuesday LITERALLY after I just paid for my copy, only to find #1, #2, #4, and #5 ready for pick up.
Now it is Friday, and I have read through the first three books already (had to buy #3 because I couldn’t wait, and today I was informed the library got it in)
BUT OMG! OMG OMG OMG! I CANNOT TAKE THIS! I cannot read fast enough, or long enough here, but my eyes needed a reading break…
So now I’m watching the movie (again) and just being slowly eaten away but not knowing anything fast enough. Not to mention every cute moment Dimitri and Rose have in the movie has me swearing out at their cuteness now.
Just…why can’t there be five more movies and Rose and Dimitri date and have babies in real life?
Book four and on is going to destroy me isn’t it? (no spoilers please!)
…needless to say my brain’s a little too occupied to guarantee any Vincent chapters this weekend.
